Newborns

Hey guys, welcome back to the blog!  I had the the pleasure of photographing a 4 week old baby boy.  It was quite challenging, but the end results are simply amazing.  He finally laid still long enough for me to get a couple of great shots.    

Hey guys!!  Today I have some wonderful portraits of a great model.  She adds glamour to country like nothing else!  I love her look, and she posed so effortlessly, and was just a awesome sport despite the 95 degree Alabama heat.  Lets show her some love! Pisgah High School Prom 2013.

Hey guys!!  Thought I would blog a little about a prom shoot I recently done for a great looking couple.  This shoot was a little different for me because not only did I shoot with my fabulous clients I got a chance to have a beautiful car in the photograph as well!  This was the first time I ever photographed a nice car with my clients, as you will see, I will be doing a shoot like this again!  It was so much fun and the couple kept me laughing the whole time.  I want to thank the city of henagar for letting me use the road we were located on.  I will also be putting a few more images on here as I finish with them.  Until then, enjoy this sneak peak!! 

Prom 2013

Prom is here!!  Finally after another long year prom season is upon us!  This year, I have changed up the way I normally do prom pictures.  I have a certain time known to nature photographers as the blue hour.  This hour comes after the golden hour which is the time the sun has already set, and the sky starts turning a darker blue, but has a good amount of light left.  Now, I hope you enjoy a sneak peak into Prom 2013!

Candyland

Welcome back!!  This shoot was a request from the client for a upcoming birthday.  The birthday was Candyland themed, and so I coincided a shoot with her birthday theme!  Bright and vibrant colors were the main focus of the entire shoot, along with my 2 very cute birthday girls in their oh so cute tutus!  The images were such a pleasure to work on, and were not short of plenty of color!  So now, here are the birthday girls!!  Happy Birthday from Jessica Blalock Photography!!!

Hey there guys!  Today I have a very active and handsome young man.  He was so playful here at the shoot, that the theme went right out the window, and turned into a candid type shoot.  Every shoot I have is special, as it can always turn into something you did not plan.  I am not always prepared for this, but alot of times it can come out better than the expected results.  This little guy put me to the test, and I am so thankful for my customers and their families for letting me capture moments like the one below.  I can not ask for anything better than this picture!  And a big thank you to mom for helping out!!  So here he is!  Mr, Aiden!!

Family Studio Portraits 3/13/2013
